Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about a cause we are all so passionate about! My buildOn story starts in 2016, when I first helped to fund and build a primary school in Tipousseline, a small, rural community in the mountains of Haiti. My passion for the movement that buildOn started has grown each year since that first trek, and I have gone on to help fund and build schools in Senegal and Nicaragua, as well as speak at two buildOn conferences with community leaders from around the country and world.

Although this year has brought about unexpected challenges and last minute change-of-plans, our team is excited to announce that we will be building a school in Guatemala with the funds raised over the past year! As we look forward to future treks and opportunities with our club and our community, we continue to reflect on the many injustices our country and world face. Thank you for standing with us as we fight against these injustices, and against the cycles of poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations.
